MB Impex Ltd. Company was established in 1996 in the town of Banja Luka, located on the territory of northern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main mission of the company was and still remains to become the most recognizable producer of fruit brandies from the former Yugoslavia territory. From the ancient time, north of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been suitable ground for raising fruit plantations for its extraordinary terrain configuration and climate conditions. This is the reason why the fruit picked from this area has unique and specific flavour, which gives unique flavour to fruit brandies that no other brandy produced in other regions of the world has. Long time ago, merchants from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland recognized the quality of these products and they were the first exported products from B&H territory. Having recognized comparative advantages of this region, in comparison to the others, the company started producing “Golden” fruit brandies. We can proudly say that within our assortment today we have Golden Viljamovka (Zlatna viljamovka), Golden Apricot (Zlatna kajsija) and Golden Quince (Zlatna dunja), in other words, three masterpieces, one name - Golden. We will enrich our production and sale assortment in the future with new fruit flavours. As the company was growing, it started to devote more and more of its attention to raw material out of which this unique beverage is produced. In 2007 we have started our own Viljamovka pear plantation in the area of 17ha, which will yield in its full harvest 2000 tons of top quality pears solely used for our own production program. The highest quality apricot and quince plantations in southeast Europe are located in central Serbia, in the area of the cities Čačak and Bajina Bašta. Due to provision of continuity and quality of raw material for production of Golden Apricot and Golden Quince, the company has entered into cooperative relationship with the major producers of this fruit in Serbia.

In our desire to be as close to our consumers as possible, MB Impex company opened the sister company in the north of Serbia, in the city of Novi Sad under the name Zlatni Pelin Ltd in 2006. We can proudly say that the products produced by this company: Golden Wormwood (Zlatni pelin), Zlatnaya vodka and Gold Gin took significant part of the market in Serbia as well as in the neighbouring countries in a very short period of time. Mission of the Novi Sad company is to become leader in southeast Europe market in production of alcoholic drinks. Understanding the qualities of the team working on this mission in Zlatni pelin Ltd., we are convinced that we will reach this goal very soon.

The products control is carried out in our own laboratory certified by reputable international certification company TÜV Rheinland. This result in owing HACCP certificate as well as the certificate ISO 9001:2000. Logical sequence was winning many international awards for design and quality. We are specially proud of the award which our Golden Quince (Zlatna dunja) received on the International drinks fair in Moscow, that took place from 18 to 20 November 2010. Among many alcoholic drinks manufacturers from the entire world, Golden apricot was awarded with golden medal. Besides that, MB impex company was specially awarded with Grand prix of the International drinks fair 2010 for high quality products.
